Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (KSCA), an a Kerala Government Institution to promote cinema has organized the 24th edition of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) 2019 in Nishagandhi Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) from December 6- 13, 2019.Chief Minister (CM) Pinarayi Vijayan presented awards during the event.Japanese film, ‘They Say Nothing Stays the Same’, directed by Joe Odagiri, has won the prestigious Suvarna Chakoram award 2019 (Golden Crow Pheasant) for the best film screened in the competition section. It award carries a cash prize Rs 20,00,000 (approximately $28,000) for the best feature film to be shared equally between the director and the producer.
