India ranks 136 in World Press Freedom Index 2015

India has ranked 136th position out of 180 nations in the recently released World Press Freedom Index (WPFI), released by The Reporters Without Borders (RWB). The WPFI is produced by France-based international non-governmental organization Reporters Without Borders or Reporters Sans Frontières. WPFI aims to promotes and defends freedom of information and freedom of the press.
