India Beat Pakistan In Asiad Final Hockey

India beat Pakistan in Asiad final after 48 years to bag hockey gold. It was the first win for India in the finals against Pakistan after 1966.

After the gap of 16 years India won gold in Hockey in Asiad final. India won the last gold in 1998 beating South Korea at Bangkok.

Indian men under the captain ship of Sardar Singh played skillfully and beat Pakistan by 4-2 in the Asian finals.

This victory gives India a direct entry to 2016 Rio Olympics.
