Renowned For : The co-founder and CEO of Apple Company which revolutionised the modern society with products like iPad, iPhone, iMac, MacBook, iPod. He was the co-founder & CEO of Pixar which produced 3D imaging software called PhotoRealistic RenderMan or PRMan. He was also the co-founder of NeXT Computer which formed the base of Mac OS X.

Steve jobs was recognised and awarded many awards which are as follows

  • Jobs was posthumously honoured the Grammy Trustees Award, an award honoured for those who have influenced the music industry in areas unrelated to performance.
  • Graphisoft company in Budapest unveiled the world’s first bronze statue of Steve Jobs, honouring him as one of the greatest personalities of the modern age.
  • Steve Jobs was ranked second behind Thomas Edison, by young adults of age 16-25 when they were asked to identify the greatest innovator of all times.
  • Steve Jobs was posthumously recognised as a Disney Legend on 2013.
  • Jobs was awarded with National Medal of Technology by President Ronald Reagan in 1985 along with Steve Wozniak.
  • He was ranked as No.17 on Forbes magazine: The World’s Most Powerful People.
  • Jobs was named the most powerful person in business by Fortune magazine on 2007.
