Indian Badminton Star Saina Nehwal clinchéd her second Australian Open title after she notched up the win in final against Sun Yu of China at Australian Open Super Series badminton tournament in Sydney.
- The Badminton Association of India (BAI) pronounced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh for Saina Nehwal for winning the Australian Open Super Series. The World No. 8 Saina defeated China’s Sun Yu by 11-21 21-14 21-19 in the thrilling title clash.
- This is the Second title for the Hyderabad hailed London Olympic Bronze Medalist, the first instance being in 2014.
