Mohan Kumar appointed as new Indian Ambassador to France

Senior diplomat Dr.Mohan Kumar, currently India’s top envoy to Bahrain, has been appointed the next Ambassador to France to succeed Arun Kumar.

• Dr. Mohan Kumar, (IFS:1981), presently Ambassador of India to ​Bahrain​, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to ​France​.H​e is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
• The official announcement for Mohan Kumar’s appointment comes six days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France.
• Incidentally, before becoming Ambassador to Bahrain in 2010, Mohan Kumar served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Paris for three years.
• MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and PhD from Sciences Po University, Paris
