India’s junior women boxers win 12 medals including 4 gold at 3rd Nations’ Cup 2019 held in Serbia

India’s junior women boxers team has clinched 12 medals(4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals) at the 3rd  Nation’s Cup 2019 held in Sports Hall, Vrbas, Serbia from August 14-18,2019. Indian team claimed the runners-up trophy.3rd Nations’ Cup 2019 held in Serbia Key points:

Key highlights:
i. The gold medal winner, Tamanna  won the ‘Best Foreign Boxer’ award. She got the victory over russia’s opponent Alena Tremasova with 5-0 scores.
ii.  Overall, 160 boxers from 20 countries had participated in this tournament, for which 13 Indian boxers participated & Ragini (46 Kg) was the only Indian who failed to win a medal.
