Forbes India unveils 30 Under 30 List 2024Forbes India unveiled the 11th edition of Forbes India 30 Under 30 List for 2024 (Class of 2024), which recognises professionals and entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions across diverse fields.

  • The 2024 list features 37 individuals including Actress Rashmika Mandana; Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra, co-founders of Zepto; Vishnu Acharya of Razorpay recognised across 19 cateogries.
  • The class of 2024 includes a total of 9 women which includes.

Note: The 2024 witnessed the introduction of a new cateogry – B2B (business-to-business).

Key Highlights:

i.Aadit Palicha (21 years) and Kaivalya Vohra (21 years), Co-founders of Zepto are the youngest winners of the class of 2024 list.

  • Zepto is the only 1 unicorn on the list, valued at USD 1.6 billion, and raised USD 235.4 million in 2023, which is the biggest amount raised by a listee in 2024.

ii.The list features a total of 13 professionals including Rashmika Mandanna and Radhika Madan.

iii.The winners of the new category B2B are: Shreyans Chopra (29), Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mstack; and  Spriha Biswas (29), Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Head of Marketing of India’s first voice-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) for healthcare professionals, Augnito

Note: Mstack, led by Shreyans Chopra, gains prominence for its cross-border custom manufacturing platform specializing in specialty chemicals.

iv.Hunny Bhagchandani (28), Founder of Torchit, is recognised for creating innovations benefiting persons with disabilities.

  • His first product, Saarthi, is a device to help blind and visually impaired persons.

Note: Athletes Parul Chaudhary and Jyothi Yarraji, featured on the list, are a part of the Indian contingents participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics(France).

i.Forbes India 30 Under 30 list was first published in 2014. It was started with 14 categories in 2014 and expanded to 20 in 2023.

ii.The list dynamically adapted to industry trends, separated music, and entertainment, added education during the edtech boom, and incorporated cryptocurrency (Web3 in 2023).

  • Over the past decade, this list has not only spotlighted emerging talents but also witnessed their continued impact on diverse industries.

Selection Process:

i.The final selection was made by the Forbes India editorial team, considering individuals under 30 as of February 29, 2024.

ii.Enterprises with multiple co-founders were evaluated, giving preference to those with at least one founder under the age of 30.
