1. inescapable – अतनिायश

Meaning – unable to be avoided or denied.

Usage – “political reform was inescapable”

synonyms – unavoidable, inevitable, ineluctable, ineliminable, inexorable, assured, sure, certain, bound to happen, sure to happen, unpreventable, preordained, predestined, predetermined; necessary, required, compulsory, mandatory etc.

2. sporadic – तििपुि

Meaning – occurring at irregular intervals or only in a few places; scattered or isolated.

Usage – “sporadic fighting broke out”

synonyms – occasional, infrequent, irregular, periodical, periodic, scattered, patchy, isolated, odd, uneven; intermittent, spasmodic, on and off, random, fitful, desultory, erratic, unpredictable etc.

3. poignancy – मार्मशर्ता

Meaning – the quality of evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret; pathos.

Usage – “the pregnancy has a special poignancy for her family”

synonyms – pathos, sadness, pitifulness, piteousness, sorrow, mournfulness, wretchedness, misery, bitterness, pain, painfulness, distress, tragedy etc.

4. fray – कलह

Meaning – (of a fabric, rope, or cord) unravel or become worn at the edge, typically through constant rubbing.

Usage – “cheap fabric soon frays”

synonyms – unravelling, unravelled, worn, well worn, threadbare, tattered, ragged, holey, moth-eaten, shabby; torn, ripped, split etc.

5. concrete – ठोस

Meaning – existing in a material or physical form; not abstract.

Usage – “concrete objects like stones”

synonyms – solid, material, real, physical, tangible, touchable, tactile, palpable, visible, existing etc.

6. palpable – स्पष्ट

Meaning – able to be touched or felt.

Usage – “the palpable bump at the bridge of the nose”

synonyms – perceptible, perceivable, visible, noticeable, appreciable, discernible, detectable, observable, tangible, recognizable, notable, unmistakable, transparent, indisputable, self-evident, incontrovertible, incontestable, undeniable etc.

7. litigation – सामास्जर् मुद्दों

Meaning – the process of taking legal action.

Usage – “the company wishes to avoid litigation”

synonyms – legal action, lawsuit, legal dispute, legal case, case, legal contest, action, cause, judicial proceeding(s), suit, suit at law, legal process, prosecution, bringing of charges, indictment, trial etc.

8. envisaged – परिकल्पित

Meaning – contemplate or conceive of as a possibility or a desirable future event.

Usage – “the Rome Treaty envisaged free movement across frontiers”

synonyms – foresee, predict, forecast, foretell, anticipate, expect, think likely, envision; intend, propose, mean etc.

9. subtle – सूक्ष्म

Meaning – (especially of a change or distinction) so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyse or describe.

Usage – “his language expresses rich and subtle meanings”

synonyms – fine, fine-drawn, ultra-fine, nice, overnice, minute, precise, narrow etc.

10. endanger – जोखिम में डालना

Meaning – put (someone or something) at risk or in danger.

Usage – “he was driving in a manner likely to endanger life”

synonyms – imperil, jeopardize, risk, put at risk, put in danger, expose to danger, put in jeopardy, leave vulnerable, put someone’s life on the line; threaten, pose a threat to, be a danger to, be detrimental to, damage, injure etc.
