1. Forthright – निष्कपट
Meaning – (of a person or their manner or speech) direct and outspoken.
Synonyms – frank, direct, straightforward, honest, candid, open, sincere, straight, straight to the point, blunt, plain-spoken, outspoken, downright, uninhibited, unreserved, point blank, no-nonsense, matter-of-fact, bluff, undiplomatic, tactless.
Usage – he was forthright in speaking out against human rights abuses.
2. Spruce – सजाना
Meaning – a widespread coniferous tree which has a distinctive conical shape and hanging cones, widely grown for timber, pulp, and Christmas trees.
3. Tumble – गिरना
Meaning – fall suddenly, clumsily, or headlong.
Synonyms – fall (over), fall down, topple over, lose one’s footing, lose one’s balance, keel over, pitch over, take a spill, collapse, fall headlong, fall head over heels, fall end over end; trip, trip up.
Usage – he staggered a step or two and tumbled over.
4. Tussle – संघर्ष
Meaning – a vigorous struggle or scuffle, typically in order to obtain or achieve something.
Synonyms – scuffle, fight, struggle, skirmish, brawl, scrimmage, scramble, scrum, fisticuffs, wrestling match, rough and tumble, free-for-all, fracas, fray, rumpus, melee, disturbance; donnybrook.
Usage – in the ensuing tussle his glasses were smashed.
5. Shirker – कामचोर
Meaning – a person who shirks his work or duty (especially one who tries to evade military service in wartime) slacker.
6. Sanity – मानसिक स्वास्थ्य
Meaning – the ability to think and behave in a normal and rational manner; sound mental health.
Synonyms – soundness of mind, mental health, mental faculties, balance, balance of mind, stability, reason, rationality, saneness, lucidity, lucidness, sense, senses, wits, normality.
Usage – I began to doubt my own sanity.
7. Defunct – मृत
Meaning – no longer existing or functioning.
Synonyms – disused, no longer in use, unused, inoperative, non-functioning, unusable, obsolete; no longer in existence, discontinued; extinct, fossilized.
Usage – the now defunct local paper mill.
8. Pricey – मूल्यवान
Meaning – expensive.
Synonyms – expensive, dear, costly, high-priced, high-cost, high-end, big-budget; overpriced, exorbitant, excessive, extortionate, outrageous, inflated; lavish, extravagant; upmarket.
9. Aglow – दमकता हुआ
Meaning – glowing.
Synonyms – she was aglow with health.
10. Caucus – कोकस
Meaning – (in some US states) a meeting at which local members of a political party register their preference among candidates running for office or select delegates to attend a convention.
Synonyms – meeting, assembly, gathering, congress, conference, convention, rally, conclave, congregation, convocation, synod, council, session, parley; informalget-together.
Usage – caucuses will be held in eleven states.
