1. Rampant – अनियंत्रित
Meaning – (especially of something unwelcome) flourishing or spreading unchecked.
Synonyms – uncontrolled, unrestrained, unchecked, unbridled, widespread, pandemic, epidemic, pervasive; out of control, out of hand, rife, spreading like wildfire.
Usage – “political violence was rampant”
2. Skimpy – लोभी
Meaning – providing or consisting of less than is needed; meagre.
Synonyms – meagre, scanty, scant, sketchy, limited, restricted, inadequate, insufficient, paltry, deficient, negligible, insubstantial, small, sparse; rareexiguous.
Usage – “my knowledge of music is extremely skimpy”
3. Collate – मुक़ाबला करना
Meaning – collect and combine (texts, information, or data).
Synonyms – collect, gather, accumulate, assemble; combine, aggregate, put together; arrange, organize, order, put in order, sort, categorize, systematize, structure.
Usage – “all the information obtained is being collated”
4. Sledgehammer – ताक़तवर
Meaning – a large, heavy hammer used for such jobs as breaking rocks and driving in fence posts.
Usage – the jailhouse door was sledgehammered.
5. Inducement – प्रलोभन
Meaning – a thing that persuades or leads someone to do something.
Synonyms – incentive, attraction, encouragement, temptation, incitement, stimulation, stimulus, bait, lure, pull, draw, spur, goad, impetus, motive, motivation, provocation; bribe, reward; informalcarrot, come-on, sweetener, perk; raredouceur.
Usage – “companies were prepared to build only in return for massive inducements”
6. Raging – प्रकोप
Meaning – showing rage.
Synonyms – angry, furious, enraged, incensed, infuriated, irate, wrathful, seething, fuming, blazing, flaming mad, blazing mad, mad, ranting, raving, beside oneself; informallivid, wild; informalwaxy.
Usage – “a raging bull”
7. Weeding – निराई
Meaning – remove an inferior or unwanted component of a group or collection.
Synonyms – isolate, separate out, set apart, put to one side, divide, segregate, sort out, sift out, winnow out, filter out, sieve; eliminate, get rid of, remove, dispense with, shed; informaldump, lose.
Usage – “we must raise the level of research and weed out the poorest work”
8. Surmount – बढ़ना
Meaning – overcome (a difficulty or obstacle).
Synonyms – overcome, conquer, get over, prevail over, triumph over, get the better of, beat, vanquish, master; clear, cross, make one’s way round/past/over, make it round/past/over, pass over, be unstoppable by; deal with, cope with, resist, endure.
Usage – “all manner of cultural differences were surmounted”
9. Bemoan – रोना
Meaning – express discontent or sorrow over (something).
Synonyms – lament, bewail, deplore, complain about, express regret about; mourn, grieve over, express sorrow about, sorrow for, sigh over, cry over, weep over, shed tears over, wail over, keen over, beat one’s breast about; archaicplain over.
Usage – “it was no use bemoaning her lot”
10. Subsumed – सम्मिलित
Meaning – include or absorb (something) in something else.
Usage – “most of these phenomena can be subsumed under two broad categories”
