1. Protean – बहुरूपिया
Meaning – tending or able to change frequently or easily.
Synonyms – ever-changing, variable, changeable, mutable, kaleidoscopic, erratic, quicksilver, inconstant, inconsistent, unstable, unsteady, shifting, uneven, unsettled, fluctuating, chameleon-like, chameleonic; fluid, wavering, vacillating, mercurial, volatile, unpredictable, wayward, unreliable, undependable; technicallabile.
Usage – it is difficult to comprehend the whole of this protean subject.
2. Myopic – कमबीन
Meaning – short-sighted.
Synonyms – short-sighted; nearsighted; informalas blind as a bat; archaicpurblind.
Usage – most myopic children can be fitted with glasses to correct their vision.
3. Cursory – सतही
Meaning – hasty and therefore not thorough or detailed.
Synonyms – perfunctory, desultory, casual, superficial, token, uninterested, half-hearted, inattentive, unthinking, offhand, mechanical, automatic, routine; hasty, quick, hurried, rapid, brief, passing, fleeting, summary, sketchy, careless, slapdash.

4. Sobriety – संयम
Meaning – the state of being sober.
Synonyms – soberness, clear-headedness; abstinence, teetotalism, non-indulgence; abstemiousness, temperance, moderation, moderateness.
Usage – the price of beer compelled me to maintain a certain level of sobriety.
5. Appalling – भय उत्पन्न करनेवाला
Meaning – causing shock or dismay; horrific.

6. Slave – दास
Meaning – (especially in the past) a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them.

Usage – he killed the natives or turned them into slaves.
7. Crooked – कुटिल
Meaning – bent or twisted out of shape or out of place.

8. Stingy – कंजूस
Meaning – mean; ungenerous.

Meaning – feel intense sorrow.
