Out of the total amount, Rs. 32 crore will be utilised for constructing 56 terminals and Rs 60 crore for Ro-Ro service. Roll-on/roll-off (RORO or ro-ro) ferry services are designed to carry people and wheeled cargo, such as cars, trucks, semi-trailer trucks, trailers and railroad cars, that are driven on and off the ship on their own wheels or by using a platform.
