1. Uninhabited – deserted, निर्जन

Meaning – (of a place) without inhabitants.

Synonyms – unpopulated, unpeopled, unsettled, unfrequented, unoccupied; barren, desert, desolate, lonely, deserted, depopulated, bare, wild.

Usage – “small uninhabited islands”

2. Discrepancies – difference, असंगति

Meaning – an illogical or surprising lack of compatibility or similarity between two or more facts.

Synonyms – inconsistency, difference, disparity, variance, variation, deviation, divergence, disagreement, dissimilarity, dissimilitude, mismatch, lack of similarity, contrariety.

Usage – “the discrepancy between the two sets of figures”

3. Tardy – slow, सुस्त

Meaning – delaying or delayed beyond the right or expected time; late.

Usage – “please forgive this tardy reply”

4. Endure – permanent, चिरस्थायी

Meaning – suffer (something painful or difficult) patiently.

Synonyms – undergo, go through, live through, experience, meet, encounter; cope with, deal with, face, face up to, handle, suffer, tolerate, put up with, brave, bear.

Usage – “it seemed impossible that anyone could endure such pain”

5. Logjam – stoppage, अवरोध

Meaning – a crowded mass of logs blocking a river.

Usage – “the president can use his power to break the logjam over this issue”

6. Vivacious – vibrant, जोशपूर्ण

Meaning – (especially of a woman) attractively lively and animated.

Synonyms – lively, animated, full of life, spirited, high-spirited, effervescent, bubbling, bubbly, ebullient, buoyant, sparkling, scintillating, light-hearted, carefree, happy-go-lucky.

Usage – “her vivacious and elegant mother”

7. Rigorous – strict, सख्त

Meaning – extremely thorough and careful.

Synonyms – meticulous, punctilious, conscientious, careful, diligent, attentive, ultra-careful, scrupulous, painstaking, exact, precise, accurate, correct, thorough, studious.

Usage – “the rigorous testing of consumer products”

8. Distorted – unshaped, विकृत

Meaning – pulled or twisted out of shape; contorted.

Usage – “his report gives a distorted view of the meeting”

9. Corollary – result, परिणाम

Meaning – a proposition that follows from (and is often appended to) one already proved.

10. Scarcity – insufficiency, अभाव

Meaning – the state of being scarce or in short supply; shortage.

Synonyms – shortage, dearth, lack, want, undersupply, insufficiency, paucity, scarceness, scantness, meagreness.

Usage – “a time of scarcity”
