Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai First Lady Judge in Sikkim High Court.

Meenakshi Madan Rai, has been sworn in as the First Lady Judge in Sikkim High Court on 15th April. Governor Srinivas Patil administered her oath of office at Ashirwad Hall at Raj Bhavan in Gangtok.

Her appointment has also aided the Sikkim High Court to have all its 3 Judges at power after a gap of more than a year. Meenakshi Madan Rai is said to be, only the third Judge to come from the small state of Sikkim.
