UPSC DCIO Syllabus 2020:\u00a0<\/strong>Union Public Service Commission has released UPSC Deputy Central Intelligence Officer Syllabus 2020. UPSC is conducting Combined Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) on 08\/03\/2020. The test is for shortlisting candidates for Deputy Central Intelligence Officer and Joint Assistant Director posts. UPSC DCIO Syllabus 2020:<\/h2>\n

I. Scheme of the Computer Based Test:<\/h3>\n

(a) The test will be of two hours duration.<\/p>\n

(b) All questions will carry equal marks.<\/p>\n

(c) The test will have objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.<\/p>\n

(d) The medium of the test will be English only.<\/p>\n

(e) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.<\/p>\n

(f) The Test will carry a maximum of 300 marks.<\/p>\n

NOTE\u2010II: COMBINED CBRT AND THE INTERVIEW SHALL CARRY A 75:25 WEIGHTAGE FOR THOSE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED OUT OF THE COMBINED COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST AND THOSE WHO QUALIFY IN THE INTERVIEW.<\/p>\n

Standard of suitability for the interview for candidates belonging to various categories is fixed as under:
\nGeneral\/EWS Category : 50 and above
\nOBC : 45 and above (on relaxed standards)
\nSC\/ST : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)
\nPWD (Gen\/OBC\/SC\/ST\/EWS) : 40 and above (on relaxed standards)<\/p>\n

NOTE\u2010III: NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.<\/p>\n
