Automobile Technician:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As an Automobile Technician you will drive all types of light, medium and heavy automobiles, load carriers and specialist vehicles like cranes, towing tractors, fork lifters, etc., subject to service exigencies.<\/li>\n<li>You will also carry out minor repairs, day to day maintenance and basic level servicing of the common user vehicles and specialist vehicles in the Indian Air Force inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Indian Air Force (Police):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As an Indian Air Force (Police) your responsibilities involve assuming police duties and investigation of offenses.<\/li>\n<li>You are also in-charge of maintenance of security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Medical Assistant:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operating as a Medical Assistant, you are made familiar with nursing and first-aid.<\/li>\n<li>You are also involved in the management of medical stores, dispensaries and ward supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Pay Scale:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Airmen: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During training, a stipend of <strong><i class=\"icon inr\"><\/i> 14,600\/-<\/strong> per month shall be paid.<\/li>\n<li>On completion of training, the minimum of scale of pay shall be <strong><i class=\"icon inr\"><\/i> 26,900\/-<\/strong> per month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Age limit:<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates should be born between <strong>17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Educational Qualification:<\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1. Group \u2018Y\u2019 (Non-Technical) {Auto Tech &amp; IAF (P) Trades):<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate should have passed Intermediate \/ 10+2 \/ Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream\/subjects approved by Central \/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should be passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate\/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2. Group \u2018Y\u2019 (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; clear: both;\">Candidate should have passed Intermediate \/ 10+2 \/ Class XII or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English approved by Central \/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.<\/p>\n<h3>Selection Process:<\/h3>\n<p>The selection will be based on the:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Written Examination<\/li>\n<li>Physical Fitness Test (PFT)<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability Test &#8211; I, II<\/li>\n<li>Medical Examination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Pattern for the Written Examination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Written Test<\/strong> will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English &amp; Hindi) except for English paper.<\/li>\n<li>Answers are to be annotated on the OMR sheet. A detailed procedure shall be explained before the conduct of the examination.<\/li>\n<li>The duration of the written test will be <strong>45 minutes<\/strong> and shall comprise of English as per <strong>10+2 CBSE<\/strong> syllabus and <strong>Reasoning &amp; General Awareness (RAGA).<\/strong> The results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Fitness Test (PFT):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Adaptability Test-1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All candidates who pass the Written Test shall undertake Adaptability Test-1 on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability Test &#8211; 1 is to assess the suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Adaptability Test-2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-1 will have to undertake Adaptability Test-2 as per policy in vogue.<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Medical Examination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test -2 shall be medically examined in the month of July 2020 at 4 Air Force Hospital, Kalaikunda.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Examination would also include Baseline Investigation of:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Blood Haemogram &#8211; Hb, TLC, DLC<\/li>\n<li>Urine RE \/ ME<\/li>\n<li>Biochemistry:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Blood Sugar Fasting &amp; PP<\/li>\n<li>Serum Cholesterol<\/li>\n<li>Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine<\/li>\n<li>LFT- Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. X-Ray chest (PA view)<br \/>\n5. ECG (R)<br \/>\n6.
