Direct Entry Petty Officer:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Candidates should be 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports Proficiency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team Games should have participated at International \/ National \/ State level at junior \/ senior level or represented a University in the Inter-University tournament.<\/li>\n<li>Individual Events. Should have attained a minimum of 6th position in Nationals (seniors) or 3rd position in National (juniors) or 3rd position in the Inter-University meets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2. Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR):<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Candidates should be 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports Proficiency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should have participated at International \/ National \/ State level or represented a University in the Inter-University tournament.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3. Matric Recruits (MR):<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Candidates should be 10th \/ equivalent qualified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports Proficiency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should have participated at International \/ National \/ State level tournament.<\/p>\n<h3>Selection Process:<\/h3>\n<p>The selection will be based on higher sports achievements.<\/p>\n<h3>Medical Standards:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Medical examination<\/strong> will be conducted by authorized military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum <strong>height 157 cms.<\/strong> Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum Chest expansion of 5 cms. Height may be relaxed for Tribal candidates as per the prevailing regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Good mental, medical and physical health free from any disease \/ disability, likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
