ii.In the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic he supported the migrant workers going back to their home town from Mumbai through the “Ghar Bhejo” by LBTrust, Neeti Goel and KhaanaChahiye initiative which raised around Rs.57 lakhs.
iii.He offered his Juhu hotel to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to use as a quarantine facility and to all the healthcare workers like doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc.
iv.He is providing daily food for more than 45,000 needy through the “Shakti Annadanam” food drive named after his father Shakti Sagar Sood.
v.He arranged an Air Asia flight to send around 180 migrants back to Assam from Mumbai and a flight for 177 workers of Odisha from Kerala.
