1. Conspicuous – विशिष्ट

Meaning – clearly visible.

Synonyms – easily seen, clear, visible, clearly visible, standing out, noticeable, observable, discernible, perceptible, perceivable, detectable; obvious, manifest, evident, apparent, marked, pronounced, prominent, outstanding, patent, crystal clear, as clear as crystal; vivid, striking, dramatic, eye-catching, flagrant, ostentatious, overt, blatant, as plain as a pikestaff, staring one in the face, writ large, as plain as day; distinct, recognizable, distinguishable, unmistakable, inescapable.

Usage – he was very thin, with a conspicuous Adam’s apple.

2. Myriad – असंख्य

Meaning – a countless or extremely great number of people or things.

3. Ascetic – तपस्वी

Meaning – characterized by severe self-discipline and abstention from all forms of indulgence, typically for religious reasons.

Synonyms – austere, self-denying, abstinent, abstemious, non-indulgent, self-disciplined, frugal, simple, rigorous, strict, severe, hair-shirt, spartan, monastic, monkish, nunlike; reclusive, solitary, cloistered, eremitic, anchoritic, hermitic; celibate, continent, chaste, puritanical, self-abnegating, other-worldly, mortified.

Usage – an ascetic life of prayer, fasting, and manual labour.

4. Pertinent – उचित

Meaning – relevant or applicable to a particular matter; apposite.

Synonyms – relevant, to the point, apposite, appropriate, suitable, fitting, fit, apt, applicable, material, germane, to the purpose, apropos; ad rem; rareappurtenant.

Usage – she asked me a lot of very pertinent questions.

5. Vindictive – प्रतिशोधी

Meaning – having or showing a strong or unreasoning desire for revenge.

Synonyms – vengeful, out for revenge, revengeful, avenging, unforgiving, grudge-bearing, resentful, ill-disposed, implacable, unrelenting, acrimonious, bitter; spiteful, mean, mean-spirited, rancorous, venomous, poisonous, malicious, malevolent, malignant, malign, evil, evil-intentioned, nasty, cruel, unkind, ill-natured, baleful; informalcatty, bitchy; literarymalefic.

Usage – he never destroyed a person simply on the say-so of vindictive enemies.

6. Slacken – शिथिल करना

Meaning – make or become slack.

Synonyms – loosen, make looser, release, relax, loose; lessen, reduce, weaken; datedveer

Usage – he slackened his grip.

7. Frivolous – तुच्छ

Meaning – not having any serious purpose or value.

Synonyms – flippant, glib, waggish, joking, jokey, light-hearted, facetious, fatuous, inane, shallow, superficial, senseless, thoughtless, ill-considered, non-serious; informalflip; informaldaft; archaicfrolicsome, sportive, jocose.

Usage – they never indulged in frivolous remarks.

8. Aversion – घृणा

Meaning – a strong dislike or disinclination.

9. Imperious – शाही

Meaning – arrogant and domineering.

Synonyms – peremptory, high-handed, commanding, imperial, overbearing, overweening, domineering, authoritarian, dictatorial, authoritative, lordly, officious, assertive, dominating, bullish, forceful, bossy, arrogant; informalpushy, high and mighty, throwing one’s weight around.

10. Augment – बढ़ाना

Meaning – make (something) greater by adding to it; increase.
