Azim Premji awarded with Swiss Ambassador’s Award

Wipro’s Chairman and business tycoon Azim Premji was awarded Swiss Ambassador’s Award for his inspirational and socially responsible leadership.

Switzerland ambassador Linus von Castelmur praised Azim Premji as a beacon of the corporate world who has maintained values such as tolerance, honesty and modesty. The award recognizes his commitment to values, with the firm belief that success in business eventually but inevitably follows.

Premji is the fifth Indian to be conferred with the Swiss Ambassador’s Award, joining the likes of Yash Chopra, Ratan Tata, Glenn Saldanha and RV Kanoria.
