BSE signs MoU with ICCI to support SMEs start-ups in listingOn 24th October 2020, BSE (formerly known as Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd) signed an Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Inventivepreneur Chamber Of Commerce & Industries (ICCI) to support Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) and start-ups & promote their listing on the exchange.

Objective:

  • BSE aims to give adequate exposure on the benefits of listing on exchange to SMEs and startups through ICCI.
  • ICCI will also comprehend the functions of the capital market in a better way.

Features of MoU:

i.ICCI will support in evaluating the SMEs and startups for listing on BSE SME board.

ii.ICCI will also sensitise the investor network about the listed SMEs and startups.

iii.ICCI will offer global industry connections to the BSE startups.

iv.Through knowledge transmission on the programmes announced by the government, acceleration funds, international presence and global business relations ICCI will support entrepreneurship across India.

v.ICCI will also conduct networking activities, awareness camps, interactive sessions and business events to support this initiative.

On 19th October 2020, BSE signed a MoU with the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana along with GlobalLinker to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of the state to raise equity funds.

On July 13, 2020 BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) informed that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with IIT Alumni Council to encourage the listing of startups and develop a ‘High Investor Depth’ platform for those startups.
